There are so many educational options in Portland, Oregon, and yet it can still feel like there aren’t enough. My program is just one of many in Portland and the surrounding areas. All children have unique needs, and every learning environment has its own strengths and limitations.
If you’ve ever been interested in starting your own learning program, I would be more than happy to help and be a support. Portland needs even more opportunities for kids and families.
I recently came across an AMAZING website that brings together PPS and private schools all in one place. It also includes filters for homeschool and charter school options. Finding a school that best meets your student’s needs can be overwhelming, to say the least. This site is a work in progress, but it is already incredibly helpful. Check it out and please pass this resource along to others who may be interested.
Speaking of resources, I am hosting a Homeschool and Alternative Education Resource Fair on March 7th. Come to an in-person event and see what is available! Please also tell your friends and share this opportunity with programs that may be interested in being vendors at the event. Details are here! https://www.facebook.com/share/1C4WLZcuES/

Home Depot: Did you know that you can attend a kids craft time the first Saturday of the month. I would say this is a great activity for kids ages 3 years to 8years. I loved taking my kids when they were younger. https://www.homedepot.com/c/kids-workshop. They also do Birthday parties. My twins had their 3rd Birthday there. Sooooooooo fun!
