Change is very hard, and at the same time, it happens a million times a day. Why is it so hard? We all have our own ideas about how life is meant to pan out. We all like things our way. But there is beauty in change, even if it is hiding stubbornly under a big pile of baggage (our past experiences). What if some changes are an opportunity for something more wonderful?
I have a big problem with change. But I quickly recover. Starting a homeschooling program with zero experience was a big change for me. That said, I opened up a chance to be there not only for my kids but the greater homeschooling community.
I was able to create a vision, find a wonderful teacher, and give kids (and their families) the support they need in their education.
What are you teaching your kids about change?
We are enrolling! Please share on social media and with friends.

Educational Advocate: Theresa Jahangir is an educational advocate, educator, and school counselor who supports families navigating complex education and support systems. As the parent of a child with complex medical and developmental disabilities, she understands firsthand how overwhelming it can feel to advocate for a child in systems that were not designed with every family in mind.
Theresa works with families to identify meaningful accommodations and goals for their child’s IEP, 504 Plan, and other systems of support. She provides guidance at every step so families do not have to navigate these processes alone.
She specializes in helping families work through complex systems—including school districts, county services, and state programs—so children can attend school safely, thrive in their learning environments, and participate fully in their communities.
As a thank-you to newsletter readers, Theresa is offering a 1-hour consultation for $125 (regularly $175). info@theresajahangirparentadvocate.comConnect with Theresa to discuss how to support your child and create a plan that works for your family.
